Simon Jones was once a physicist determined to make contact with other dimensions of space. During one of his experiments, Jones was struck by a beam of energy and given enhanced psychic powers. Renaming himself Psimon, he became a supervillain.
Psimon was later recruited to join the expanded Brotherhood of Evil. When the Brain's master plan to eliminate the Teen Titans was brought to its final phase, Psimon and Kyd Wykkyd were sent to deal with Raven while she was on route to Sector 27 to aid Mas y Menos. Somewhere above Steel City, Psimon and Wykkyd attacked. While Psimon opened a dimensional portal and distracted her, Wykkyd forced her into the portal. Raven survived her ordeal and made preparations to mount a simultaneous assault on the Brotherhood's Paris base. In the aftermath, Psimon was cryogenically frozen along with the other members of the Brotherhood.
