Jinx was a prodigal student affiliated with H.I.V.E. for a long time. She enrolled in the Junior H.I.V.E. Academy, graduated from the H.I.V.E. Academy, formed and led the H.I.V.E. Five group. Stemming from her ability to generate bad luck, Jinx accepted her fate and became a super villain but secretly held onto hope she would find a way to balance out her power. She used Madame Rouge as her idol and inspiration over the years. Jinx became close friends with classmates, Gizmo and Mammoth and was the crush of many, including See More. She had a brief flirtation with Stone and went with him to the annual Sadie Hawkins Dance but after it was revealed he was Cyborg, the relationship ceased.
After forming the H.I.V.E. Five, their secret headquarters rivaled the Titans Tower. Jinx' quarters were located in Sector Four, Corridor 12. Like any young girl's room, Jinx' was adorned with unicorns. A year later, they staged a museum theft. Jinx was primarily after an Egyptian necklace that was rumored to bring its owner good luck. The robbery was botched by Kid Flash. He took a special interest in Jinx and made an extra effort to convert her to his side. After being disrespected by Madame Rouge, Jinx changed her mind and freed Kid Flash. She abandoned the H.I.V.E. Five to assess her future. Soon after, Kid Flash arrived at the Brotherhood's Paris base with Jinx and fought against her former comrades. She appears to be rehabilitated and joined the Teen Titans.
Gizmo and Jinx accepted a free invitation to a Space House in a parallel universe and was unknowingly collected by that universe's Brainiac. They helped destroy the Skull Ship.
