Bob Uecker is a former professional baseball player who played six seasons in the majors before going on to have a successful career as a sportscaster and actor, starring in many iconic film and television roles including Harry Doyle in Major League and George Owens in Mr. Belvedere. He was dubbed "Mr. Baseball." Robin paid Uecker to appear at his faux birthday party for 75 minutes. Cyborg immediately recognized him and wanted to ask a Mr. Belvedere question. Before he could ask it, Uecker cut him off and denied Rob Stone grew up to become Marilyn Manson then suggested it was Josh Saviano from Wonder Years. Beast Boy countered there would be pony rides at his party. Robin dressed up in formal polo club wear and saddled Uecker. Beast Boy was aghast but Uecker revealed it was in his contract. Despite all the promises Robin made, the other Titans still chose to go to Beast Boy's party. Uecker made an offer to Robin to go out for frozen custard. Robin admitted it wasn't really his birthday and he was doing his out of spite. Uecker shook his head in disappointment.

On the night of the birthday party, Robin made a fake conversation with Uecker in the living room of the Titans Tower. Cyborg overhead something about Mr. Belvedere and left Beast Boy's party in the kitchen. He asked Uecker about the Belvedere episode when Wesley wouldn't eat his brussel sprouts. Uecker asked if they could talk about baseball instead. Cyborg continued about Belvedere and Wesley and admitted he thought the kid was the worst. Robin laughed evilly and continued with his plan to poach the other Titans. Beast Boy, however, turned into a pony and took the Titans back. Uecker declared it was over and asked if he was done. Robin countered it wasn't and had Uecker follow him down to the lab. He ordered Uecker to throw a switch. He complied and Robin spliced his DNA with the DNA of a bear, cheetah, and raccoon in an effort to become the ultimate party animal. Before Uecker could finish telling the others what happened, Cyborg asked him what happened to the actor who portrayed Wesley. Robin's bear claw erupted from the floor and swiped Uecker. He went flying through the glass window and randomly landed in an empty hot air balloon passing by the tower. Uecker declared he was gone.
