Mystery Incorporated is a group of friends who solve mysteries. While being chased by a zombie zamboni at an abandoned ice rink, they were abruptly teleported by Control Freak to the set of Family Feud to compete against the Teen Titans for the right to avoid cancellation and earn a dedicated timeslot on network television. Velma Dinkley noted it looked like the set of game show but suspect Baron von Billfold, the devious real estate developer, was the culprit. A photo of Billfold popped up and startled her. Fred Jones suggested they play along to find out the truth. Freak acted as the host and was smitten by how wholesome Mystery Inc. was. Cyborg thought they were the coolest and yelled out to Scooby-Doo that he loved him. Scooby was charmed. Jones got out his magnifying lens and looked for clues. Daphne Blake thought she found a passageway and knocked down part of the set behind them. Dinkley thought she found a lever that activated a trap door but she just broke a microphone. Shaggy Rogers speculated there was a trap door that led to a craps table. Scooby agreed.

Freak found it adorable then started round one. Robin slapped away Jones' hand and refused to shake. He stated he didn't trust those who wore an ascot. He demanded to know what he was hiding. Jones became evasive. Cyborg speculated he had some of that thick Magnum P.I. chest hair that pops out the collar. Beast Boy bet he had an embarrassing tattoo like a cartoon carrot and cat holding hands. Starfire thought Baron von Billfold was Jones' vestigial twin. Everyone was grossed out by her theory. Dinkley retched. Scooby agreed with Raven telling Starfire to keep that to herself. The question for round one was "Why are the Teen Titans an abomination?" Robin didn't think they were one. It was wrong. Jones guessed they could be friendlier and won 27 points for getting the number two answer. Blake guessed they had "great personalities." Freak translated that as "freakishly ugly," which was the number three answer and 12 points. Dinkley was more interested in studying a billfold she found. Jones urged her to play along. She signed and guessed they were noisy. It was the number five answer and 2 points.

Rogers guessed they weren't the brightest tools in the shed. It was the number four answer and 5 points. Scooby ate some Scooby Snacks and replied Scooby Snacks. The Titans got a chance to steal but Robin got it wrong because he refused to acknowledge his baby hands. Mystery Inc. got 46 points. Rogers and Scooby faced off against Cyborg and Beast Boy. Both claimed they were package deals. The question was "Why is the Scooby gang so much more entertaining and funny and all-around better than those lame, stupid dum-dums, the Teen Titans?" Cyborg guessed Frank Welker, a versatile voice actor and cited him as the voice of Megatron from Transformers, Slimer from The Real Ghostbusters, and even Fred and Scooby. Jones assured Scooby there was no way their voices came from someone named Frank. Robin refused to further debase himself. Freak translated that was forfeiting and aimed his remote at him. Robin ducked but lost a section of hair then changed his mind and guessed teamwork. It was the number three answer and 17 points.

Starfire guessed they always did the right thing and got 15 points for the number four answer. Raven knew it because they were funnier and got 6 points for the number five answer. Beast Boy incorrectly guessed Scooby Snacks. Scooby, however, thought it was a good answer. For the steal, Jones correctly guessed it was because they were not the Teen Titans. Mystery Inc. won the game but the Titans ran off before Freak could cancel them. He was in the mood for a Scooby-Doo-style chase. Eventually Freak got tired and collapsed onto the floor. He happened to drop in front of Mystery Inc. and Fred Jones simply tossed a net on him. Looking on the bright side, Freak looked forward to being unmasked. Daphne declined to do so on account of his awfully greasy face. Even Shaggy and Scooby-Doo lost their appetites. Raven tried to console Dinkley on not solving the mystery since their show was a little out there. Dinkley, however, correctly deduced they were inserted into the episode as a cheap ratings ploy and the Titans were merely trading on the Scooby Gang's good name.

Rogers speculated Welker would not approve either. Scooby and the Titans agreed. Jones was ready to wrap things up but Robin declared there was one more unmasking left to do. Robin yanked Jones' ascot away and revealed Billfold. Starfire's theory was right after all. He admitted to the ruse and vowed he would have gotten away with it if it weren't for those meddling Titans. Daphne Blake was shocked. Jones claimed he was going to tell her eventually. Beast Boy changed into a dog and howled "Scooby Dooby Doo" with Scooby-Doo. Everyone laughed. Scooby-Doo and Shaggy reported at the 2022 NBA Slam Dunk Special but they would only talk about dunking various foods rather than the actual dunks at the competition. Scooby-Doo and Velma reported at the 2023 NBA Slam Dunk Special. Velma thought it was suspicious they were not awarding more points for the dunks and declared it was a mystery she called "Basketball Fright at All-Star Night." Robin tried in vain to explain to her it was a skills competition but she lost her glasses. She lost her glasses later on and crawled around the key while Mac McClung performed a trick dunk.

The Teen Titans found themselves in a creepy mansion while they searched for a portal-hopping Control Freak. Beast Boy pulled a lever despite Robin's warning the mansion was littered with booby traps. Fred Jones suddenly fell backwards into a secret passage. The Titans later found Mystery Incorporated mid-investigation in a study. Robin asked if they saw Freak but Scooby shushed them. Robin talked softer and apologized for interrupting. He was annoyed with the other Titans eating snacks them a barrel of ice cream. It splashed all around. Scooby licked it off himself. Robin tossed the barrel away but it landed on Scooby. He went running and ran into Charlie the Funland Robot. The teams ran off. Mystery Inc. attended the 100th anniversary party at the Warner Bros. Studios.
