Joe Leahy is a very vocal announcer who gets involved in Freakazoid's adventures. Freakazoid brought him to the Titans Tower after he agreed to help stop the Brain and the Lobe. Robin made everyone promise to keep Freakazoid's presence a secret since it gave them an advantage. Leahy promised, too. Robin was surprised and wanted to know who he was. Freakazoid pulled him out from behind the couch and introduced him. Robin told him they didn't need an announcer. Freakazoid disagreed and thought everyone did. Leahy agreed. Robin allowed him to stay but didn't want him to interfere. Leahy promised he would be slightly off camera the whole time. Before they breached the Brain's fortress, Freakazoid wanted to use "Huggbees" as the signal to attack because it was fun to say. Only Robin disagreed. Leahy voiced his support from inside the dumpster they hid behind. Robin told him to stay out of it. While Freakazoid left to eat donuts with his friend Sergeant Cosgrove, the Titans were left trapped in a death trap.
Leahy did his narrating and refused to interfere just as Robin told him to. Robin was annoyed. The Brain and the Lobe tested their Trans-mongrel-fier on Leahy to prove how brilliant their plan was. Leahy was turned into a dog person. All but Robin were excited. Freakazoid rubbed Leahy's belly. In the aftermath of the Trans-mongrel-fier's destruction, Leahy, still a dog person, clamped one of Lobe's legs angrily.
