Don Jackson is a legendary action superstar known all over the world. For each of his movies, Jackson does his own stunts. Don Jackson went to a star-studded party at a beach house. The next thing he knew, he woke up as megalodon shark in the middle of the ocean. Jackson attacked King Shark and left a tooth in his back. Jackson ate Storm, the seahorse living on the rock near Titans Island, weeks later and triggered the Teen Titans' crime alert. They came out in the T-Boat with King Shark to investigate. Raven speculated a submarine rocked their boat but King knew it had to be a megalodon and realized it bit him earlier in the summer. He turned around and made a beeline straight for the T-Boat. The Titans made a break for the island but the megalodon caught up and knocked them to the beach. He was elated to see the Titans and declared they were just who he needed. The Titans were surprised and asked how they could help. He introduced himself as Megalodon Jackson.

Cyborg pointed out he was named after the legendary action superstar. He clarified he was Don Jackson until he was mutated into a shark. Cyborg skeptical until he did some of his signature poses and "cuff 'em and stuff'em" line. Cyborg and Robin were the most delighted to be in his presence. Robin boasted he was often told he looked like him. King didn't believe that to be true for a second. Jackson suddenly grabbed a seagull out of mid-flight and swallowed it whole. The Titans hid behind King. Jackson explained his new body came with an insatiable appetite. Robin inquired how he got transformed in the first place. Jackson told them what he remembered. Starfire pledged the aid of the Titans. Jackson thanked her then ate her whole. He apologized and brought up the constant hunger. King told him he ate a Titan, too. They shouted "Shark Life!" and did a double high five. Robin revealed they were going to use a little Don Jackson detective work to solve the case then dressed up like him. Cyborg did, too, and they quarreled. Jackson intervened and told them to focus on the mission.

They left to retrace Jackson's footsteps and headed to the beach house. They walked into a wrecked house and clothes that looked like they burst from the inside out. Jackson ate Raven. Robin was not pleased. Jackson and King invoked shark life. Cyborg noticed a green slime trail. Robin didn't see it in time and slipped on it then bounced around. He ate some and discovered it tasted fishy to Cyborg's disgust. Robin realized the trail led out into the ocean. They boarded the T-Boat then Jackson carried them on his head. Once Robin sighted an island, Jackson did a hard brake. Robin was shot to the island. The T-Boat later fell on him. They headed into the jungle but they were knocked out and tied up. A mollusk named Carmen Conchenelo revealed he was the one who attacked them and who mutated Jackson into a shark as part of a plan to get revenge on Hollywood. They couldn't tell if he was really angry or not. Conchenelo explained he went to Hollywood with dreams of being a movie actor but he never booked a role because he kept getting told he lacked emotion.

After years of rejection, he decided to bring the industry to its knees by taking away its top talent and mutating them into sea animals. He revealed he had Halibut Berry, Issa Manta Rae, and Sealina Gomez in cages. They guessed Eelizabeth Olsen and Eelizabeth Banks as the fourth captor, but it was Eel Patrick Harris. All but Robin broke free of their restraints. King plucked the pole Robin was tied to out of the ground. Conchenelo revealed he had a battle suit made from the local flora. Conchenelo defeated them and declared Jackson was going to be destroyed from making him angry. Jackson started interrupting him mid-sentence and mocking his tone until Conchenelo snapped and went into a tirade about being underestimated and vowed to make the world know his pain and joy and hear his voice. Jackson applauded his fire and instructed him to hold onto it and use it when he was acting. Conchenelo thought he was messing with him but Jackson was sincere and believed he had star quality but just had to come out of his shell.

Conchenelo was overjoyed and came out of his shell. Jackson chided him and told him he wasn't being literal. Jackson promised to call his agent and get them a few meetings because he had an idea for a movie he would be perfect for. Conchenelo accepted his offer. Jackson ate Robin and Cyborg. He thought it might be a good idea to get changed back into a human. Conchenelo obliged him. Jackson was turned back into a human and the Titans, Storm, and seagull were unscathed. In "Shell Game," Conchenelo portrayed Don Jackson's hotshot sidekick who's not afraid to feel their feelings. It was an instant classic. Outside Jump City Cinemas 12, Conchenelo thanked the Titans for their praise. Jackson was also grateful for getting out of that shark body. He slapped King in the back and told him no offense but King choked on popcorn. Jackson tried hitting his back some more and he barfed. Beast Boy was chucked out at long last after being in King's stomach all summer.
