The Foot Doctor of Silver Lake is considered the galaxy's greatest podiatrist. He set up a foot clinic where he used his psychokinesis to heal his patients. However, it was the big rotating sign outside that he made that got just as famous. One side has a happy foot character and a sad foot character on the other side. They are often referred to as Hafo and Safo. According to legend, if a person sees the happy foot, they will get good luck and if they see the sad foot, bad luck. The Frog King had aspirations to make his Frog Town the coolest place and kidnapped the Foot Doctor to make his town a cool sign. He also broke the foot clinic's sign. Days later, the Teen Titans stopped at the clinic as the first leg of their weekend getaway and got involved in rescuing the doctor. The Teen Titans, Hafo, and Safo made the 1.6 mile journey to Frog Town and were met by Frog King, who revealed his plans. He then sent Mefo and Fefo from the new sign to beat them up. Robin threw a birdarang and freed the Foot Doctor from his bonds.
The doctor used his psychokinesis powers to bring the sign down on top of Frog King, Mefo, and Fefo. The sign then exploded. Back in Silver Lake, the doctor used his powers to fix the sign then placed Hafo and Safo back on each side. Beast Boy saw Hafo first and got a burrito. Robin saw Safo and was run over by a woman on a scooter. He crawled over to the foot doctor in agony and begged for help. The doctor shrugged.
