The natives of an island named the Island of Garbage Fonts advanced far enough to have their own culture and language but use rudimentary methods to catch fish, cook their meals over a fire, and have utilized carts and wheels to move their food around in the village. Winston Q. Dingbert was exiled to the island after presenting Zimdings to the Committee of Fonts. He colonized the natives, called them Dingbats, and forced them to learn Zimdings. Many years later, the Teen Titans arrived in search of Dingbert to undo the Typocalypse. After crossing the Helvetic Hills, they encountered one of the natives hiding in a Brush Script bush. Robin ordered him to show himself. Cyborg was aghast to hear him talking in Zimdings and called him a heathen. Cyborg blasted his dialogue balloon away with his arm cannon and demanded to know where his leader was. The native became scared. Robin told him to wait and pointed out he was just trying to help them. Raven admonished Cyborg for almost costing them a lead on the whereabouts of Dingbert. Beast Boy tried asking the native where his village was. The native led them to it. The natives were grateful to the Titans for defeating Dingbert and hit him repeatedly after Cyborg tied him up.
