The Creepy Catcher is a sports enthusiast affiliated with Super Hero Summer Camp and dresses like a baseball umpire. At some point, he became part of a legend intended to scare teenage super heroes into being responsible. He was cast as a villain who searched for wild teenagers, so he could make them pay for their naughty behavior. Robin warned the other Teen Titans about him after they pulled a prank and used hoisted his underwear up a light pole. They believed he was just looking for friends to play baseball with. They split up and sought to prove Robin wrong. Creepy Catcher found Beast Boy first, skinny dipping, then Cyborg and Starfire at their shell game stand, Raven in a basement where supplies were kept, Bumblebee in the forest after Robin bashed her leg with his staff to get away and lastly Mas. Robin found them at the baseball field and wondered why he didn't ask him to play. They all awkwardly chattered and walked away. After most of the super heroes fell under Trigon's control, Cyborg fired baseball equipment at the Wonder Twins. They found themselves in baseball garb. The Creepy Catcher burst out of a cabin, grabbed them, and carried them off.
