The Joker prepared to hypnotize them again but Thomas teleported in front of them and activated his noise canceling power gauntlet. The force field defended them. Nandi tried to counter attack but Joker turned the volume up to 11 and shattered the field, sending them flying. He took off. Nandi was upset but the Titans informed her the villain always got away in the opening scene to build suspense. They went to the Titans Tower to plot their next move. Raven noticed Nandi's music was the only thing that had an affect on Joker's jingle. Nandi admitted it was too powerful for her to fight on her own but she had a plan.

Nandi declared they were going to stop the Joker and his misuse of music for evil by forming a super group. The Titans agreed it would be awesome. She declared it would be rock and roll. Thomas started things out by producing his latest invention, the Sonic Styler, from his gauntlet to determine the Titans' ideal rock personas. Cyborg became a funk rocker, Raven become a punk rocker, Starfire became a glam rocker, and Robin became a death metal rocker. Beast Boy declined to step onto the Styler and tore his costume off. Thomas thought he was going for a 90s alternative look. Beast Boy admitted he just liked dancing around in his underwear. Nandi informed the Titans they next needed to go on a perilous journey to the Land of Rock to obtain their instruments rather than simply going to a music store. They went to the Land of Rock, overcame numerous deadly obstacles like Led Zeppelin blimps, Rolling Stones, four Beatles, a Pearl Jam, and Foo Fighter UFOs, the traveler must climb the tallest mountain where a pair of magical sunglasses await.

The Titans wondered why they all cramming into a black van and how it was rock and roll. Nandi Bushell claimed it promoted band unity. Thomas added she liked the wizard mural on the side of it, too. Nandi admitted it was rock and roll. They soon faced the many obstacles. Thomas activated a modification to the van, wings and rear thrusters. They made it to the top. Nandi put on the sunglasses and could see the Titans' musical auras. She bestowed them their mighty instruments. Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy got guitars and Starfire got a microphone but Robin got nothing. Nandi noticed a cow standing next to her and gave Robin its cowbell to his annoyance.

The Joker used the brainwashed citizens to rob Jump City Bank. The Titans fell prey to it, the most toxic substance known to rock fans, and began infighting about have more solos, who the leader was, wanting a solo career, and wanting a girlfriend. Nandi refused to surrender and serenaded the Titans about how rock and roll was about spreading a message of joy and freedom so that people never give up hope or get brainwashed by clown trucks. The Titans came to their senses and had a group hug with the Bushells then continued their song. The Joker converted his truck into a giant mech and tried to counter their music. They prevailed and destroyed the mech. The Titans thanked her for teaching them the meaning of rock and roll. She wanted to take "Nandi and The Titans" on the road.
