The Brainy Brawlers are one of the roughest, toughest teams in the Super Roller Derby league. They all have the power of telekinesis as well. One night, they took on the Gotham City Sirens, a team composed of Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Starfire, and Raven. In the opening seconds, one of the brawlers gave Starfire a steel butt to the gut. The jammer charged the others but they pushed back. The four Brawlers displayed their telekinesis and ripped a piece off the rails and bashed them. The Brawlers passed and scored four points. The Sirens regrouped and used their skills and powers. Harley pounded the ground with her mallet, causing a piece of the rink to rise up and nail a Brawler in the chin. Ivy wrapped vines around the skates of another and sent her skidding. Starfire threw jam on two Brawlers and they fell over. Raven conjured a giant fist wearing brass knuckles and punched a Brawler. Catwoman used her whip to launch Starfire past the downed Brawlers, leaving a trail of fire. They got on the board with four points.
The Brawlers used telekinesis to hold Starfire in place before she could cross the line and passed, taking the score to 16 to 8. Harley clobbered a Brawler into the shape of a pancake. With 30 seconds to go, the score was 112 to 108. The Brawlers skated ahead and used their telekinesis to form a literal wall they called the Brawler Wall. Harley believed the only way to get Starfire past was to do the dangerous Roller Vault. Ivy became concerned. Harley boasted her name was "Dangerous" but Ivy took out her old Arkham Asylum I.D. and pointed out it was really "Frances." They performed the Roller Vault, hopping on each others shoulders. Ivy produced a long branch. Harley, seated at the top, took it and used it to pole vault everyone at the Brawler Wall. They threw Starfire up towards the top of the wall. She fired starbolts at the two Brawlers at the top of the wall. They bent over in pain and Starfire passed over them to the finish and scored the winning five points. To complete the elaborate ruse to trick Starfire and Raven into helping them pull off a bank heist, they tricked them into thinking the Brawlers were sore losers and kidnapped Harley's hyena Lou as revenge with a note on their car. It worked but Raven and Starfire were able to stop them.
