The Yum Yum Kitty Diner is an eatery in Jump City famous for their "Crazy Fries." On a boy's night out, the diner was visited by Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy. They held a contest to eat their fries in crazy ways. Cyborg later tracked Jinx to the diner after she fled from the scene of a robbery at Jump City Bank. Amazing Mumbo once robbed it but was defeated by Raven. After Raven, Starfire, Jinx, Ravager, and Terra fought their way through the Brain's Fortress to rescue Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy, they were irritated by their newfound "chivalry." Instead of freeing them, they went for milkshakes at the Yum Yum Kitty Diner per Jinx's idea to drink milkshakes and make each other laugh so hard they squirt them out their noses. Sergeant Cosgrove went to the diner and called up Freakazoid to invite him over for donuts. Freakazoid was hesitant to accept since he was on a mission with the Teen Titans. Cosgrove added he was buying.
Freakazoid joined him. He asked Cosgrove what he ordered. Cosgrove replied it was a Bismark. Freakazoid asked if that was the same as a Long John. Cosgrove corrected him that a Bismark was round shaped and a Long John was shaped like a rectangle. Freakazoid understood and realized it was like a maple bar. Cosgrove confirmed but pointed out maple bars were called Long Johns on the east coast. Freakazoid asked that an eclair was then. Cosgrove told him it was a Long John filled with custard. Freakazoid was amazed and asked him how he knew so much about donuts. Cosgrove revealed he learned it all from an old woman named Gladys. After Freakazoid left to rejoin the mission, Cosgrove called him again to tell him Gladys wore an eyepatch. Batman and Commissioner Gordon shared a sundae in the diner when the Baby-lonians' giant laser rattle hit the city. Their sundae was turned to baby food just as they ate and they were turned into infants. After the Titans ran out of breakfast food to eat at the Titans Tower, they went to the Yum Yum Kitter Diner after 3 in the morning. They gorged on breakfast so much that their guts stuck out. As a consequence for not eating a well balanced diet, they transformed into breakfast foods. Robin decided they needed to get help from an expert and had Raven teleport them to Mealtopia.
