The Teen Titans discovered they were fading from existence. With no other choice, they rushed forward. They emerged from a laptop in a room at Warner Bros. Studios where the Teen Titans Go! cartoon was being made. The Titans noticed a multitude of drawings of them then met Peter and the rest of the show's crew: Peggy, Luke, Prez, Eric, Jerry, Chuck, Battle, Pablo, Marina, Anand, Keef, Trevor, E. Rock, Candi, Sandra, Erin, Sacco, Camy, James, Stone, Pringle, Hype, Romero, Caps, Zach, Rob, Jeff, Adriel, and Nick. They also met Sam, the boss who ran the studio. It turned out Sam was a giant yellow head. He rose up and told them all to get back to work then lowered back down. Peter told them they made the show and the Titans suffered an existential crisis. The Crew was supposed to be working on the 200th episode but Michael and Aaron didn't turn in the script. The Crew took advantage of the rare break after working non-stop for 199 episodes on a very aggressive schedule. Peter advised them to check the studio since they were supposed to be recording voices.
After recording Michael and Aaron, the Titans consulted with a character designer chained to his desk. With their input, he drew Michael and Aaron with big heads and little bodies then made them look dumb with overbites. Peter was concerned with the script and told the Titans it wasn't producible. The Titans revealed they were just going to make it on the fly. The storyboards were done then sent to Canada by carrier pigeon. Once the reel was safely delivered, one of the crew checked it and stamped the 200th episode 'Good Enough'. Peter brought the VHS to the Titans and warned them it was a mess. The Titans played the episode and loved it but they were still fading. Peter told them make-believe only became real if they put their heart and soul into it. Robin ordered the episode to be reborn with heart and soul. Peter turned them down and stated they had their shot. Robin grabbed him by the collar and repeated himself. Peter summoned security and the Titans were thrown out. Michael and Aaron eventually realized they were interconnected with the Titans and the Crew resumed work.
Fed up with the ThunderCats Roar reboot, the Titans had Cyborg fire a petition, with 500 unintelligible angry signatures demanding the show's end, into the Warner Ranch from Titans Tower. Almost instantly, a cannon on the ranch fired an envelope to the Tower. It hit Robin in the back of the head. It was merely lip service thanking them for their interest and a picture of Bugs Bunny was included. The Brain broke into the Warner Ranch in search of the greatest cartoon mastermind that the 1990s had to offer. After some going through a couple cans, he released the Lobe. The Titans got a crime alert about it and drove to Burbank in the T-Car. At the same time, someone from the Teen Titans Go! crew went in the fountain from Friends and was surrounded by police. Sam Register also screamed because someone parked in his reserved parking stall. The T-Car crashed through the steel front gate and into the studio the Brain was in. They leaped out and let it crash as they confronted Brain. He announced the Lobe. Since it had been awhile, the Lobe announced himself, too. Robin demanded to know what was the meaning of the unexpected crossover.
The Lobe revealed they were going to combine their intellect and devise the most brilliant evil plan the world had ever seen. Brain configured his dome into a scooter and Lobe jumped on. They took off. Robin deduced they needed to team up with a 90's hero if they stood a chance at winning. Raven suggested Batman Beyond but Robin thought he was too dark. Starfire found Road Rovers but Robin thought they were too cute. Beast Boy pulled the Freakazoid can off the conveyor belt headed into the incinerator. Robin voiced his reservations because Freakazoid's humor was so weird and random nor could he stick to the story. The others pointed out he was a 90's hero and fought the Lobe. Robin conceded but warned them he was a wild card. Freakazoid was released. He couldn't resist running around make whooshing sounds. Once he was done, Freakazoid asked how much time passed. Robin showed him it was 2020. He was intrigued and asked them if poverty was dealt with yet. Cyborg informed him it wasn't but people could now watch movies on their phones while they sat on the toilet.
Freakazoid took his phone and tried it out. He came back and confirmed that was awesome. He advised Cyborg to get rid of the phone then asked why they needed him. Robin explained they needed his help to take down the Lobe. Once Freakazoid remembered who he was, he was shocked he escaped. Raven confirmed he did. He shook her, telling her he didn't want to know. He did admit Lobe was kinda lame even though he almost blew up the world once. Raven asked him if he would help. Freakazoid refused and revealed Steven Spielberg, the executive producer on his show, was picky about crossovers. Robin texted him using his Titans Communicator and got a thumbs up back. They retired to the Titans Tower to come up with a plan.
Ludwig von Sournote broke into the music library at Warner Bros. Studios to shut down the Telepix machine. He set off the Teen Titans' crime alert and conversed with them over the security camera. He revealed he was after the Telepix machine. The Titans had no clue what that was. He explained it was the machine that provided the score to their show and it put him out of the job. Cyborg stated entertainment was a tough industry. Sournote agreed and asked them if they knew how hard it was to be a composer from spending all his time to making music demonstrations and working on spec to land a gig only to lose out to a glorified mp3 player. He kicked it in anger then pulled its plug. Eventually, the Titans drove into the studio in the T-Car. Sournote guessed they came to tell him in person they enjoyed his score. Robin told him they didn't, stated they came to shut him down, and demanded the release of the Telepix. He refused and relished the impending fight sequence.
Sournote commanded the percussion, brass, and string instruments to attack. The drums were too powerful for Beast Boy and beat him into a wall. The strings were too nimble and deflected Starfire's starbolts back at her then whacked her in the head. The horns stabbed Cyborg. One caught his missile and fired it back at him. The woodwinds packed a punch against Raven. A bombastic bass blew Robin away. Sournote demanded their surrender. Robin admitted his score was too awesome. He was touched and thought they were going to use his score. Cyborg informed him there was no room in the budget but Robin knew of someone who would afford it, Batman. The Teen Titans portaled to Warner Bros. but the security guard at the front gate did not see them on the list and refused them entry. They tried to use their "fame" but he used the security arm to launch them away. Robin got an idea to use the sewers. They noticed the sewers were not undergoing regular maintenance and Robin fell when a bridge collapsed. They were soon attacked by rats.
Robin recalled in the 1930s, an actor complained about rats on the lot so the studio bought a bunch of cats that chased them underground. Robin accidentally breached a pipe and flooded the sewers with the Los Angeles River. They were shot up through a manhole cover on the lot. The security guard found them, grabbed them, and ordered them out. They tried to kick back but broke their legs against his chest. Not even Beast Boy's donkey form made a dent. Raven switched to Lady Legasus and kicked him into the sewers where the rats attacked him. The Titans stumbled on a zombie movie being filmed. They saw an "Extra Food" table and scarfed down on everything. They realized it was food reserved for the zombie extras. They chased after the Titans. The Titans commandeered a tour cart and the extras soon fell over from lack of energy. They found Zack Snyder's office and saw versatile actor Patrick Wilson was standing guard. He apologized and told them he promised to be Snyder's watchman. He changed into Nite Owl who he portrayed on Snyder's "Watchmen" movie.
Beast Boy tried to talk to him owl to owl but Wilson refused even with the offer of lunch. Cyborg pretended to see Aquaman. Wilson changed into Ocean Master, proclaimed the throne was his, and went after him on a wave of water. The Titans broke into the upper level and found Snyder finishing 300 reps in his personal gym. He recognized the Titans. Robin explained their mission, he was interested, and he agreed to give them the Snyder Cut. He offered a period piece look, a dark and broody style, or post-apocalyptic cut. They left it up to him because they liked his style. He was flattered and had Robin take a seat. He gave them all epic hair cuts that matched his. Snyder slapped Robin awake. Robin tried to clarify what he wanted but Snyder pointed out the episode was already over. Starfire asked if he could fix it in post. He didn't think it was salvageable.
Warner Bros. celebrated its 100th anniversary at the studio lot. Robin volunteered the Teen Titans to host the party. The other Titans were not so enthused about working. He gave them two rules: no outside food and only those on the guest list were allowed in. Daffy Duck was wanded by Starfire and given a pat down by Robin after he triggered the metal detector. Daffy threatened "his people" would be in touch. Robin thought it was a compliment and replied he was just doing his job as a superhero. Daffy decided to prove he was more of a superhero and told Bugs Bunny to empty his pockets after he triggered the detector, too. Bugs asked if was sure but Daffy was adamant. Bugs unloaded a bear trap, a vicious badger, and a bomb. Daffy was beat up and blown into the water tower. Yogi Bear entered with a picnic basket but was refused entry. Yogi explained he was just transporting his friend, Gizmo the Mogwai. Buddy Hobbs delivered Michigan J. Frog in a box but Robin could not find him on the list under F and booted him out.
The Titans led a special VIP tour of the lot starting with the fountain from Friends. Jabberjaw played a prank and emerged from the fountain like Jaws. Yogi called pool party and hopped in. Gizmo got a wet and produced one offspring. Robin was fearful it was the start of an army of monsters and wanted to destroy him but Starfire intervened with starbolts and declared he was Gizmo's plus one and thus, allowed to stay. They went into Stage 24 to check out the Central Perk set of Friends. Cyborg suggested reenacting the famous scene and declared he was Joey. Foghorn Leghorn, Taz, Yosemite Sam, and Wile E. Coyote got into a dispute over who would be Rachel. It turned into a cartoon fight cloud that took down Stage 24. The tour continued to the stage where the blockbuster movies were filmed then to the Power Station where the WB Shield was stored underground. The Titans explained its history as the source of Warner Bros. Studios' creative magic and quality entertainment. They warned without it, the studio would fall apart into deadly chaos but it was protected by a single velvet rope.
After everyone returned to the surface for the party, Michigan J. Frog entered through a duct and stole the shield. Raven tore up the dance floor, Starfire took photos with Gizmo and his offspring despite their fear of bright light, Ranger Smith chased after Yogi Bear, Cyborg, and Beast Boy, and Robin and Daffy Duck competed with each other at a Joker water gun stand. Batman won and got a Bat-Mite doll. Martian Manhunter deejayed. Raven invited Taz to dance with her. Suddenly, the power went off. Michigan J. Frog arrived with the shield after blowing up the power station. He revealed he was getting revenge on Warner Bros. for not being invited to the party despite all his decades of work. He tapped the shield and trapped the Justice League, Looney Tunes, and others in fissures then smashed the shield into three pieces. The pieces scattered across the property. Only the Titans, Daffy, Yogi, and the two Mogwai were left. Daffy blamed Robin but Cyborg picked up one of the pieces on his Titans Communicator.
The team went on a seemingly endless walk across a desert. Cyborg informed them they were halfway. Daffy declared he was dead and collapsed, inadvertently revealing the Mystery Machine. Cyborg instantly fixed it up with his nanobots and they took off for the Harry Potter castle. They found a magnificent feast and scarfed down. To Robin's horror, no one stopped Gizmo's offspring since it was after midnight. The Mogwai transformed into a Brain Gremlin and assured them he was not a bloodthirsty one but one who prided himself on his sensibilities and sophistication. He agreed to use his vast intellect to help them locate the missing part of the shield. Robin was dismayed they would trust such a disgusting little thing. Raven quipped they spent years listening to him so they were used to it. The piece lay behind a green door but Robin was unable to open it, claiming it was under a invincibility spell. Brain Gremlin countered it was locked and they should look under the welcome mat. There was a key but a raven stole it.
Yogi found two brooms. Robin thanked him and swatted the Brain Gremlin. Yogi clarified they could chase the raven with them. Robin and Daffy took off. Daffy kept interrupting Robin, continuing with his stance that the current situation needed a real hero. They fought over the key and fell to their doom. Robin missed two piles of hay and fell straight into the ground while Daffy made a soft landing, mocking him for calling himself a bird. They opened the green door and saw the piece. Flames and the Wizard of Oz apppeared. Robin was "elected" to talk to the Wizard. The Wizard was angered they dared to trespass across his realm. While he was distracted, Raven portaled and grabbed the piece then everyone ran for it. They followed the next signal to the ocean but realized it was the Friends fountain magnified by the power of the piece. The three ornamental sea creatures on the fountain had also come to life. The creatures were actually friends and were fine with giving them the piece in exchange for a small favor. Robin, Starfire, and Yogi carried a couch up a stairwell to their apartment.
Starfire didn't believe the couch would fit but Yogi believed they just had to pivot. Starfire and Yogi became distracted by Gizmo and Robin fell down the stairs with the couch. Eventually, they got the couch into the apartment. It soon collapsed. They took the piece and split. They tracked the last piece to Blockbuster Island, the site of the studio where the big budget movies were filmed. They were soon surrounded by giant natives who were actually bugs. The natives chanted and a giant Michigan J. Frog came through a giant set of doors. He ate one of the natives and picked his teeth with the last piece. Frog refused to hand it over and did a song and dance before destroying them. Raven convinced Robin to listen to Brain Gremlin's idea. He borrowed Cyborg's nanobots and formed them into a giant Gremlin mecha. Frog was insulted by being disrupted and connected with his tongue then swung the mecha around. The mecha electrocuted him then used eye lasers and Gremlin shaped missiles.
They fought cane vs. gauntlet laser blade. Frog got behind and pierced his cane through the mecha. It dissipated. Frog declared it was over but Brain revealed he swiped the piece on the sly. Frog ordered the natives to get them. Cyborg turned into a bug zapper and quickly dispatched them. They quickly reconnected the pieces but nothing happened. Frog declared the magic was gone forever. Yogi commented it was time to reach deep. Robin believed he was saying the magic resided deep inside all of them. Yogi clarified he meant his picnic basket. Robin instructed everyone to place a hand on the shield and repeat after him saying, "We are the stuff that dreams are made of." The shield activated and transformed them into buff superheroes in the blue and yellow color scheme of Warner Brothers. Together, they emitted beams from the Warner Bros. logo on their chests and reduced Frog to regular size. Robin grabbed him then they unleashed an energy wave that restored the entire studio back to the way it was.
Daffy told Bugs he single-handedly saved the day. Frog apologized to everyone for the trouble he caused and came to terms with the fact he was not invited. Robin took notice his full name was Michigan Jackson Frog and saw he was listed under J instead of F on the guest list. Everyone gasped and glared at Robin then chased him across the lot. A cat at Eric's work station played around on the keyboard and with the mouse while he took a nap. As a result, the fabric of the Teen Titan's reality was altered and they started losing body parts and various objects like Silkie's tuna can and the Titans Tower's satellite.
Robin cashed in the giant Zod coin and built a brand new, state-of-the art office building for The Crew at the Warner Ranch. It came with many amenities like a pool table, rooftop gym, electric scooter parking structure, yoga studio, robot falcon pigeon exterminators, gourmet coffee shop, free cold drinks, solar cellphone charging stations, outdoor green space, and vacation pit. There was a view of all the major freeways. The air conditioning system was made from the roaring engines of a jumbo jet. Titanium walls were installed to block out calls from loved ones. The Crew was late, prompting the Titans to go check on them at 4R. Peggy Regan and Peter Michail informed them the delay was because they were packing the essentials, lots and lots of toys. They reminisced about the old building and were going to miss it even though it was a deathtrap. Peter remembered the time he walked into a restroom stall and the toilet burst apart in front of him. They loaded the designers, the animators, visual effects, and the story department.
Jay Bastian stepped outside and introduced himself as a creative executive. Cyborg keyed on his last name and asked if it was spelled like the kid from "The Neverending Story," one of the greatest movies of all time. Bastian never saw it. Beast Boy turned into a Triceratops and led the wagon for The Crew. Bastian pointed out so many great movies were filmed at the Ranch like "Christmas Vacation", "High Noon", and "Lethal Weapon". Regan was put off by Robin's bad breath and wanted to switch seats but there were no takers. Robin hyped a new feature at his building, hot desks. Regan didn't like the idea of employees having to reserve their own office space on a daily basis. Nor did Bastian like having to leave with all his toys every day. Cyborg wanted to play the most epic soundtrack of all time but Bastian was getting tired of him mentioning "The Neverending Story" then admitted he was into Westerns. He revealed they entered an area was once part of a Wild West movie set. Regan warned it was a breeding ground for bandits. Robin reminded them they had the Teen Titans with them. A piece of his staff was shot off by a bandit.
The trio of bandits demanded the artists. Cyborg suggested they settle it like they did in the Old West. The bandits were keen on a showdown but Cyborg shot the sign of a building to reveal he meant a hoedown. He played a Cowboy Jams tape in his chest and hit them as he danced: bopped the panda, grabbed the mouse's nose and twisted, and drop kicked the turtle. The bandit trio danced in unison and beat up Cyborg with a throw, belly bump, and kicks. Cyborg dialed A for animator. Three animators sprung out of the wagon dressed like cowboys. They stomped the bandits' feet, kicked their faces, double kicked them, and farted so hard it sent them into the saloon set. The mouse tried to stand but collapsed. The Crew and Titans resumed their journey. Cyborg was hungry from the hoedown. Regan revealed a rhubarb pie she baked. Robin found it boring and shoved it in her face. He hyped the office's variety of delicious snacks, including hard boiled eggs and dried seaweed, but he was suddenly launched into the lagoon. Beast Boy apologized and took a drink.
Raven noticed all the trash in the lagoon and no way across. Starfire asked the designers. They made a cat-themed bridge. It reminded Cyborg of something. Bastian assumed he meant the kid from "The Neverending Story". Cyborg went on about Atreyu getting stuck in the swamp and Falkor saving the day. He called it the most dramatic scene of all time. Bastian pointed out the lagoon was used for "Fantasy Island". He realized it had the power to turn fantasies into reality. Robin instructed everyone to clear their minds. Bastian was worried. Peter asked him what he did. Bastian claimed he couldn't help it because Cyborg went on and on about that dumb movie. A monster burst through the bridge from the lagoon. It had a parakeet head, wings of a fly, and a reptilian tail. Bastian thought it was Falkor. Cyborg informed him Falkor was a fluffy white dragon. Bastian repeated he never saw the movie. The monster breathed fire at them. Raven conjured a shield but the flames were too powerful. Visual Effects fired a beam at the monster, then a gas grenade and flash bang. They both drew a circle and the Teen Titans logo swipe repeatedly bashed the monster from both sides. It fell into the lagoon.
Robin went on and on about more features of the office, prompting Peter to tell him they got it – it was a cool office. Robin slapped him and demanded he show some appreciation because of all the work he put into the office. He thought they should be groveling at his feet. He touched Peggy's face with his feet and stuck it in Peter's mouth. Peter barfed after. The ground gave way beneath them and they landed in a cavern. Peter told them it wasn't the time to panic. Lava filled up the cavern. Peter declared it was time to panic. Peggy suggested the writers come up with something brilliant. They typed out a page that read, "They escape." Robin was infuriated and smacked them with the page. Beast Boy believed the story department could get them out. They storyboarded the wagon with rocket thrusters and wings. They dodged pillars of lava and shot down boulders. They made it out in time.
A giant beetle monster stood between them and the new office building. Beast Boy had no strength left to fight it. Bastian felt a battle scene was excessive at this point in the journey. Peter suggested cutting it. Robin was surprised. Peter pointed out editorial could cut anything. An editor pushed the cut button on her gauntlet. The monster vanished. Peggy wished goodbye to the old ranch and promised its legacy would live on forever. Bastian called it the end of an era. Peggy and Peter were still going to miss it even though it was awful and tried to kill them multiple times. They cried but were hit by Robin and insisted they check out their new office. They revealed The Crew decided to work from home. Robin was shocked and called them ingrates. He pitched turning it into the Titans' new headquarters but they weren't interested and flew away.
