A monster stole De La Soul's music then flew to Mars where it transmitted their songs and collected the royalties. The Teen Titans and De La Soul followed the monster to Mars in the Titans Tower after Cyborg activated the rocket function. Robin attempted to demonstrate his "super power" of initiative and ran through the glass window. He plummeted, landed on his back harshly at the edge of a crater, then rolled down the crater. He noticed a boom box nearby and proceeded to push play. The others tried to yell to him to stop but it was too late. The monster's trap activated and they were sealed in the crater with water being pumped in. Robin thought it was a chance to show off his other "super power" of thinking. Cyborg smacked him to the ground out of expediency so they could escape but the Titans couldn't help but turn the names of two albums "De La Soul is Dead" and "Stakes is High" into puns about their current predicament. De La Soul had an idea. They exclaimed "Buhloone mindstate!" together. Their heads inflated like giant balloons and breached the grate over the crater.
The Titans cheered. The air was released and De La Soul fell on their faces. They spotted the monster gloating near a machine playing the stolen music and collecting royalties. De La Soul demanded their music. The monster refused. Pos Plug Won attempted to negotiate and offered to split the royalties with it if their music was returned to them. The monster still refused to comply and smacked them into a wall. David Jolicoeur thought there was no getting through to the monster. The Titans weren't as resigned to defeat and charged in unison. They dodged the monster's energy blasts and went into the portal Raven opened in front of the monster. Another portal opened above it. Robin leaped off Cyborg's back and heaved his staff into the monster's machine. The stolen music flowed out back into De La Soul. Now clad in matching black suits, they flew towards the monster and decked it with an uppercut construct. They exclaimed "A-O-I!" and their hands combined into a giant energy cannon.
The monster regained his composure and descended back at them. De La Soul fired their Bionix Beam and sent the monster drifting into space. They thanked the Titans for helping them recover their music and admitted they were pretty cool. Maseo spotted the Justice League in the Invisible Jet above them. Wonder Woman commended De La Soul on their victory. Aquaman extended an invitation to them to join the League. De La Soul quickly accepted and sat inside the jet then the League took off. The Titans stood there dumbfounded. Raven was disgusted.
