On Christmas Eve, the Teen Titans went undercover to the Jump City Prison to break out Santa Claus so they got get presents for Christmas. They soon realized the prison population was a who's who of terrifying supervillains but Robin was confident they just needed to demonstrate their dominance against the biggest villain and the rest would leave them alone. Robin chose Bane but he didn't want to fight. He gave Robin a welcome basket. Robin was touched by his thoughtfulness then yelled at him to get lost. Bane cried and ran away. The Titans were shocked to see prison life made Santa jacked. He refused to go anywhere with them since Beast Boy got him arrested in the first place. Raven was surprised he didn't want to spend Christmas outside prison. Santa stated there was nothing out there for him anymore. Starfire asked about the reindeer. He revealed their relationship soured the moment he got locked up. He teared up and admitted he missed them terribly. He did not believe they could escape without them. Robin revealed they anticipated it and set up a visit.

They went to the visitor's room where Prancer, Comet, and Vixen were waiting. Santa told them he thought of them everyday but they did not believe him. Beast Boy turned into a reindeer and reminded them Christmas wasn't the time for fighting but for putting differences aside and focusing on the true mean of Christmas: presents. Santa reminisced about how much fun they had delivering presents. He revealed a chest tattoo depicting them delivering presents on their sleigh. The reindeer were moved. Santa repeated he missed them and apologized. They agreed to help in the break out. In the mess hall, Santa and the Titans went over the plan but Beast Boy didn't bring the map. Santa boasted he knew the prison like the back of his hand then took his right glove off and revealed he got a map of the prison tattooed on the back of his hand. Robin outlined the plan: they escape up the chimney in D-Block while the guards were distracted by a Christmas party in the mess hall. Robin and Santa provided a distraction to allow Beast Boy the chance to steal food and drinks from the kitchen.

Bane repeated he didn't want any trouble. Robin slapped Bane's food tray in his face and pretended to be attacked by Bane while Santa alerted the two guards by the kitchen door. Bane revealed he only had one more day left on his sentence. The guards zapped him and announced he now had 100 years for fighting in the mess hall. As they dragged him away, Bane vowed he would break Robin. Raven and Cyborg made invitations using the license plate press. Cyborg made vanity license plates for the T-Car, including "BOO YAH," "CYBORG," and "RULEZ." Raven made one for Robin, "BBY HANDS." Starfire got decorations from the laundry room and met a little mouse hiding in some dirty socks. They became instant friends. The party went off without a hitch. Santa and the Titans sneaked off to D-Block but discovered the chimney was blocked off with bars. Santa revealed an early present smuggled in by the reindeer, a Granny Goodness Goodies fruitcake. In reality, it was a tool box filled with tons of instruments.

Cyborg grabbed a chisel and mallet and got to work while the Titans made a noisy distraction at the party, a rendition of "Jingle Bells." They returned just as Santa's sleigh arrived. They climbed up but Santa declared they were on the permanent naughty list and cut the line. The Titans were imprisoned in D-Block while Santa escaped. Starfire pointed out they got their Christmas wishes despite being double crossed: Cybog got custom plates for the T-Car, Beast Boy got snacks, Raven would get some peace and quiet finally, and she got a new pet. Cyborg noticed even Robin got a best friend. Bane was waiting in Robin's cell and beat him up.
