After Raven cast a spell that took the Teen Titans back to the 1980s to facilitate Robin and Cyborg's bet about finding and buying music back then. They went off the roads, down a steep drop, and crashed through a wall into the mall. Starfire misunderstood a girl's compliment about her hair and threatened their lives until Raven explained. She tried to return the compliment but the damage was done. The girl and her friend cried. The Titans noticed everyone was making eye contact and talking to each other instead of looking at their phones. Cyborg found Jump City Jams but realized he didn't know how to find music in a store. Robin instructed him to find the genre, flip through a million records by hand, and find something. Cyborg was overwhelmed by all the different genres but found a B.E.R. album. Four Eighties Jerks arrived and displayed unmotivated hostility towards the Titans. Cyborg swiped the album back and the Titans fled the mall on their bikes. The jerks followed.
Robin planned a perfect shopping trip at the Jump City Mall for the Titans. Cyborg admonished Starfire for smelling money and directed them all to the smells coming from the food court. Robin netted them before they could run to the court because of what he spotted. A free Hot Tub XL 3000 was offered as a prize in a contest at the Jump City Mall. The winner simply had to be the last one standing with a hand staying on the tub. The Teen Titans were in awe of the herbal tea unicorn twin fountains, music system, and toy boat. They admired it instead of going to the food court to eat. Sticky Joe and the Teen Titans competed for it rather than attempt to pay the $50,000 price. Robin was confident Joe would quit as usual. Two hours later, Robin resorted to begging Joe to quit but he refused. The Titans were hungry and were not pleased to see Joe packed his own lunch. Robin refused to let anyone go to the food court and stated anyone who let go of the tub was banned from using it. He also pointed out they only had one dollar left after all their shopping.
Cyborg got an idea. Cyborg's head walked to the food court to spend the last of the Teen Titans' money to buy a dollar hot dog from the Krypto Superdogs stand. Cyborg went to the condiment station and drenched the dog in mustard only for Condiment King to snatch it. He stood up and revealed the station was a decoy he had strapped to his head. Cyborg had no idea who he was. Condiment King lay claim and wrote his name on the dog in ketchup. Cyborg complimented the penmanship but demanded it back. King taunted he could if could "ketchup" with him and squeezed ketchup on Cyborg's head. Cyborg slipped on a trail of mustard King made to a trash bin. Cyborg surfed on a tray after him but King turned on all the drink dispensers. Cyborg crashed into the end of the counter, was launched into a pretzel spinner rack, and shot with relish. King "relished" in his defeat, ate the hot dog, and bid him "mayo" have better luck next time then dumped a tub of mayo on him.
Robin suggested meditation to curb their hunger but it only made them want to urinate. Cyborg begged Joe to give up but he refused. Robin looked at a mother and her infant and got an idea. The Titans were all clad in diapers. They couldn't bring themselves to using the bathroom except Beast Boy. Cyborg asked him how he was going that. Beast Boy instructed them to just let go of their self-respect. They all followed suit and sighed in relief. A mother passing by with her infant backed away. Robin insisted they did what they had to in order to win. He could feel victory around the corner. One day later, the Titans were worn out. Robin got a crime alert about an armed robbery at Jump City Bank. Cyborg felt the universe didn't want them to win. Robin tried pleading with Sticky Joe to forfeit but he refused. Starfire powered up and yelled at him. He yelled back. Cyborg caught her before she let go.
Raven got an idea to bring the fight to them and portaled the three crooks into the mall. Without taking their hands off the tub, the Titans beat up the crooks then tossed them into the herbal tea. Starfire turned on the jets and the crooks were launched into mall security. The Titans felt reinvigorated. Raven felt like she could go on forever. Three weeks later, the Titans were on their last legs. Cyborg powered down, Starfire could see the light flashing before her eyes, Raven could no longer create portals, and Beast Boy declared he was a goner. Robin spotted an ice cream stand that offered free samples. It would give them the boost they desperately needed but they pondered how to keep their hands on and do it without their super powers. Beast Boy asked Robin if one of them could forfeit but Robin stated they came to far as a team for one to quit. Robin got an idea to drag the tub with them after the Titans drank all the tea. Starfire believed his brain was broken.
They drank in all the tea. Swollen, they managed to drag the tub to the ice cream stand. Robin punched the employee and grabbed the free samples. They were all re-energized and barfed all the tea out. Robin called for a high five. They realized they all let go and Sticky Joe was declared the winner. They cried so hard, their tears filled the tub back up and Joe took a dip and drink.
