On the Holiday Mob's orders, Beast Boy and Santa Claus went to Miami and accosted Tommy Groundhog at his Groundhog's Shadowz nightclub. Santa revealed the Boss, Baby New Year, wanted to make Shadowz the most successful nightclub in all of Miami however Groundhog had to falsely call an early spring on Groundhog Day so the club could be packed with spring breakers. Groundhog refused. Santa took off his gloves, cracked his knuckles, and scared him with shadow puppets. Groundhog tried to look away but Beast Boy forced him to look. Santa made a puppy shadow puppet. Groundhog conceded and agreed to call an early spring. Santa wished him a Merry Christmas. The Easter Bunny and Turkey rolled up in a convertible and told Beast Boy and Santa that the Boss was impressed and decided to make Santa a made man again.
