At DC Headquarters, the Teen Titans were relayed a message from DC via Detective Chimp. They learned after many meetings and much deliberation, DC was sending them to Elseworlds forever. Elseworlds is a place where all the silly and weird versions of characters that don't fit in the main DC Earth are sent to where they are no longer canon and "don't count." Detective Chimp shoved them through a doorway glowing yellow. They landed in Elseworlds and saw the Titans Flower, the Hall of Just Ice, and Barkham Asylum. Robin thought Elseworlds was completely ridiculous. They soon met Malibu Batman, a version of Batman who surfs. Robin was not impressed and asked if he fought Scuba Joker. Malibu revealed it was Beluga Bane. He was quick to get a move on. Malibu Batman tried to prove to Robin there were cool versions of heroes around. He pointed out Superman-ual Transmission, Fluffy Batman, Birthday Batman, Pinata Batman, and Batman Batman. Birthday Batman hit Pinata Batman and all his candy spilled out to his horror. Cyborg asked Batman Batman how he was different than regular Batman. He revealed his secret identity was Batman instead of Bruce Wayne.
Robin was not convinced and he still wanted to be canon again. Malibu implored him to give Elseworlds a chance. Thumbs Up Batman agreed. Robin disagreed and wanted to leave at once. Thumbs Down Batman booed him. Malibu conceded there was a portal at the peak of What Else Mountain but they had to pass three trials. The first was a challenge from Harley-Quinn-Sized-Bed: fold a fitted bed sheet neatly. Nobody could so they tossed it on her and ran past her. For the second trial, the Teen Titans and Malibu Batman were greeted by Cozy Robin, a cute baby version of Robin, at the Wild Robin Pasture. He offered them hot chocolate but when he produced it from his nose and marshmallows from his mouth, they realized he was just as gross as their Robin and declined. Cozy pointed out Off Model Robin. Off Model asked if he was a friend and Cozy quickly said no to his disappointment. Cozy revealed there were cool Robins like Laser-Ear-Robin who could shoot a laser out of an air. The Titans were impressed after he took out several trees in one shot. Starfire thought he had the deadliest ears in Elseworlds but Cozy revealed it was Basset-Hound-Samurai-Robin who held that title. He used his ears to wield his swords.
Robin saw some rustling in some bushes and thought it was another cool Robin. Batman Robin tied him up and took his place, lying there were just squirrel Robins. Off-Model Robin grabbed his leg and wanted to come but was kicked off. At the peak, they learned the portal to canon DC was guarded by Cannon Batman. He pointed out it was just a coincidence he was a cannon who guarded the canon. He revaeled his cannonballs revealed what they became in canon: Starfire turned evil and joined Darkseid, Raven wears a headdress, Beast Boy's memory is erased and he's stuck in the form of a giant starfish named Garro, Robin loses his hair and memory and drives a taxi for the rest of his life as Ric Grayson but people can't stand him and never tip him, and Cyborg joins the Justice League and becames a valued member. Cyborg was overwhelmed by the revelation and shouted he needed therapy because he could never mess up with the stakes being higher.
Malibu thought it proved they were better off in Elseworlds to avoid their terrible fates. He kept Cannon's mouth open and ordered the Titans in. They fired themselves to the portal and returned to DC canon. They didn't understand why Robin was so happy given his fate. Batman Robin revealed himself. Back in Elseworlds, Off-Model Robin chased after the still tied-up Robin hoping to be friends with him.
