When Robin tried to form the Teen Titans, he sought out Kid Flash first and found him playing table tennis against himself inside Banes Gym. Mid-pitch, Kid Flash stopped Robin and left to stop a bank robbery in Canada then came back. Robin assured him the try outs the next day was just a formality for him. Just as Robin was about to leave, a teenage boy named Victor asked him for a flyer. Once Robin realized he was a regular dude, he turned down Victor and told him the try outs were for superheroes only.
