Arkham Asylum is a psychiatric institute in Gotham City infamous for being where the city's super villains are incarcerated. One day, several villains were out in Arkham's outdoor recreation yard. Penguin and Bane lifted weights, Joker read, Poison Ivy and Catwoman played chess, and Two-Face played his harmonica. Raven teleported herself, Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Starfire through a portal underneath the weight bench used by Bane and Penguin. They believed they were helping Robin earn his last Bat Scouts badge by having to catch criminals and satisfying their interest in fighting Batman's enemies. Beast Boy turned into a crab and cut the power to the asylum. The alarm was triggered but all the gates opened. The Titans ushered five of them outside. Cyborg threw Joker outside. After the Titans defeated them as Bat Scouts, Raven opened a portal and sent them back to Arkham Asylum.
During a quest to finish Robin's unfinished Easter egg hunt, the Titans found a clue in the Batsignal projector, "Inside the prison lies what you seek. It's to a hand like shoes to feet." Robin groaned and pounded the ground in frustration. He declared only a genius could figure out the clue. Beast Boy recalled Arkham Asylum was a prison. As they walked past the inmate cells, Beast Boy speculated the egg was hidden in a cell. Robin believed it would be easier to search the cells without all the criminals inside. He threw the master switch and released everyone. They trampled him on the way out. The Titans split up and went through cells. Cyborg checked Penguin's cell but blew himself up opening an umbrella. Starfire checked the litter box in Catwoman's cell but found nothing. Raven checked Mr. Freeze's cell but only found him mid-escape through a hole in his wall. He froze her. She yelled out she found nothing. Beast Boy checked Poison Ivy's cell and pulled a plant out of its pot. It screamed and slapped him.
Robin checked Scarecrow's but a swarm of bats flew out a mask. They all went into Joker's cell. Beast Boy noticed the Joker had a lot of gloves in his drawer. Raven deduced that was what the clue was hinting at. Beast Boy casually leaned against a lever in the cell. A boxing glove shot out of the wall and knocked Robin into a false wall that crumbled and revealed a clue, "To find the egg and show your mental fitness, the answer will stare at you from where a bat does his business." They headed to Wayne Manor.
