The Ultimate Pair are a pair of golden sneakers that contain an infinite amount of the drip, the magical coolness that comes from wearing sneakers. However, wearing it could warp the wearer's mind and make them too cool for school. The pair was housed deep in the center of the Jump City Kicks Warehouse atop the Stock Room of Doom. Robin's mind was warped from the Ultimate Pair and he tried to makeover the whole city and make it cool. He used the shoe's drip magic to transform the Jump City Elementary into the Jump City Shark Colosseum. The children stood on their floating desks and watched a shark ate a desk. The other Teen Titans protested but he found them whack. He turned a park bench into a skateboard and left them in the park. He turned a school bus into a monster truck and turned the Jump City Middle School into a cool Tyrannosaurus Rex. Beast Boy caught up but Robin's moves were too cool and he evaded capture.
Robin made his way to the Jump City High School. Raven opened a portal and teleported herself and the other Titans in front of Robin's path before he could unleash the drip. Starfire stated he had done enough. Cyborg warned they would take him down. Robin didn't think they were cool enough to take him down. Raven revealed her sneakers were Pretty, Pretty Pegasus branded. Robin admitted they were nice kicks but didn't think they would out-drip his. Raven revealed she wasn't trying to and scuffed one of his shoes. As a result, the pair lost its power and Robin dropped to the ground. Everything he changed reverted back to normal. Robin bemoaned it was all for nothing. They tried to tell him an important lesson that it shouldn't matter what shoes a person wears or how cool you act, they should have just accepted Robin for who he truly was. Robin thought that meant they finally found him cool. Cyborg told him no and slapped his head.
