After Robin realized there was a Tyrannosaurus Rex on the dollar bills the other Teen Titans gave him, he thought they were tricking him at first. Robin noticed something was clearly wrong in an American history book, a Tyrannosaurus Rex was present in the Revolutionary War on December 25, 1776 in place of George Washington. The Teen Titans paid a visit to the New God Metron. Metron checked his Time Sweater, made from the Thread of Time, and discovered a tear. Metron and Teen Titans discovered Killer Moth was snacking on it. Metron stressed the need to repair the hole or else all of time would unravel. He located Washington in the Cretaceous Period and instructed the Titans to return Washington to his proper time then use his Time Needle & Thread to re-knit the hole shut. Robin did the honors in 1776 after the dinosaur happily jumped into the Time Hole back to its proper time.
Metron paced until the sweater began to stir. The Titans popped out and landed on him. Robin sewed up the tear in the sweater. They checked their money and the $1 bill returned to normal. Metron bid them farewell. However, Killer Moth returned and made another tear in the sweater. Robin guessed it had to do with the Wright Brothers never inventing the airplane since their T-Jet suddenly vanished. Metron confirmed he was right and the only way to repair the hole was to put them back on the path to invent an airplane. The Titans succeeded but before they could leave, Moth ate up the sweater again and Robin switched places with the Blarney Stone. They decided to make the stone their new leader and left Robin in Blarney Castle in 1963.
