The Titan is a coveted award in the first annual Teen Titan Awards that goes to the Titan who is the best in a specific category, including "Dishwasher", "Trash Remover", "Laundry Doer", and "Person Who Kept Their Crumbs Off The Floor." Robin informed the other Titans who were easily swayed to participate because of their irrational need to be validated by being given a statue based on completely arbitrary metrics. The Academy made arbitrary decisions and gave the Titan to Robin in every category. They recognized his name and assumed he was superior. Bruce Wayne also happened to sponsor the awards. The other Titans objected and pointed out the really big conflict of interest. The five statues came to life and revealed themselves as the Academy. They were insulted and took back the one Titan Robin had accepted. The woman statue absorbed it and declared he was snubbed. Despite being defeated and reduced to rubble, the Academy won the final award of the night, "Winner of this Battle."
