During one summer vacation, the Teen Titans opted to head out into open water to fight a shark rather than close down Jump City's beach like Robin wanted to do. Robin refused to join them. Cyborg bear hugged Robin and forced him come along. Robin begrudgingly agreed to stay but wanted a bigger boat then pointed out the one they were on didn't even have a name. Beast Boy suggested "Baitmobile," Raven suggested "Dock Side," Starfire suggested "Harley Finn," and Robin wanted something powerful sounding like "Moby Dick Grayson." Cyborg wanted to call it based on where they found it, "The Shipwreck." Robin was incensed. Beast Boy insisted they patched it all up. He tapped the crane and it fell on top of Robin. They were all knocked off their feet by something circling the boat. Beast Boy volunteered to go talk to it fish-to-fish and shapeshifted into one. Cyborg wasn't so sure about the plan. Beast Boy thought whoever it was, would be cool. He was immediately swallowed whole by an unusually irate King Shark. Cyborg started to contemplate going back to shore but Robin insisted on fighting King Shark.
Robin opened the floor to any ideas. Raven suggested they sing a classic sea shanty to calm King Shark. It worked briefly then he chomped Cyborg's right hand off. Cyborg screamed, regenerated his hand, then came up with a new plan: Robin would tranquilize King with a dart. Robin didn't like the part where he had to do it. Cyborg believed his fish breath would lure King in close enough to get darted. Starfire agreed and Raven barfed at the thought of it. Cyborg promised to protect him and transformed into a shark cage. Raven shoved Robin inside with a hand construct then Cyborg jumped overboard. Starfire and Raven relaxed on the ship. Starfire wondered if they should check on them. Raven was sure they were okay. Cyborg and Robin were tossed back aboard in a mangled state. Robin had an idea to tie a keg to King to slow him down. Robin successfully fired his grapnel line around King's fin but Starfire misheard and tied the line to Robin's leg instead of the keg.
Raven shouted to Robin to tie himself to King and that should stop him from diving. King crashed into a boulder above the surface then a buoy. Robin realized King was angry because there was a huge shark tooth lodged in his back. He managed to removed it just in time before King charged into the ship at full speed. King was elated and thanked the Titans but Raven pointed out it ruined their beach day. King felt bad and asked what he could do to make it up. Starfire asked him to regurgitate Beast Boy but King noted he was down pretty deep. Beast Boy assured them he was okay and found a futon. King promised to hang with them until Beast Boy came out. The Titans agreed to it. King suggested Marco Polo. Robin gave him his tooth back but King revealed it wasn't his.
