The "Pretty Pretty Pegasus" is a children's animated series made for girls featuring pegasus characters like Butterbean. There is a king named Jellybean. Raven and even Robin are fans of the show. Pretty, Pretty Pegasus is the only thing that keeps Raven sane in the Titans Tower. Starfire and Cyborg had to speak to Raven through the two characters to make her revert to normal after each spell she cast to fix something made her more and more evil.
Control Freak once stranded the Teen Titans in an episode of the series to teach them a lesson about friendship. While Raven was very happy to be there, the others jumped to use violence. Even Butterbean and Sparkleface were impressed violence quieted the noisy Unicorns. But it only awakened the evil Gumdrop Goblin. Raven convinced Butterbean to talk to the Unicorns. She instructed them to play from the heart. Music was generated to soothe the Goblin, but it wasn't enough. Raven hugged it and told him he was loved and valued. The Teen Titans were returned back to Jump City.
In season six, an episode revolved around Butterbean and Sparkleface saving King Jellybean, who had been frozen in cake frosting. The show became scary due to the influence of Honk after Beast Boy and Cyborg changed him with science. At Alfred's Toy Cave, several Pretty Pretty Pegasus dolls animated by Honk chased after children in the store. Santa tried to trick the Titans to leave their Tower with Christmas presents. He offered a Butterbean's Pegasus Ranch playset to Raven. The Titans broke up a gang of computer pirates on the Internet. Among their haul of stolen software was a copy of the Pretty, Pretty Pegasus Movie. Raven got really excited about it.
In a later episode, Butterbean and Sparkle could only watch helplessly as Christopher the Rain Cloud accidentally rained and flooded their season's crop of cotton candy. Raven inexplicably teleported into the show and spoke to Christopher on their behalf. After explaining what was happening, Christopher took a piece out of his body and gave to them to try. It was the best cotton candy they ever tasted. Christopher planted his cotton candy and saved the season. Butterbean, Sparkle, and Raven cheered. Christopher was happy again and accidentally rained again.
While she slept during an opera, Raven dreamed about having tea with Butterbean and Sparkle but the Gumdrop Goblin arrived and tried to stomp them. They flew away. Gumdrop chased after them atop Christopher the Raincloud. He bopped Christopher to make it shoot bolts. Raven and the pegasi dodged and hid in the clouds. Butterbean and Sparkle were transformed into buff adult forms and Raven dressed lke a Valkyrie. They charged each other. Gumdrop was knocked off Christopher. Butterbean and Sparkle focused their energies into Raven's wand. She fired at Gumdrop and they used his head as a new teapot. Around the time of the annual Metropolis Ping-Pong Invitational, Raven went to a Pretty Pretty Pegasus convention and danced with other fans. Marshmallow Ducky made a marshmallow version of the Titans' TV. An episode of Pretty Pretty Pegasus in marshmallow came up. Raven opted to eat half the TV.
Raven was persuaded to attend the Jump City Comic Book Con because an exclusive edition Pretty Pretty Pegasus was on sale with five points of articulation, made of solid gold plastic, and made real life horsey sounds. She managed to buy the last one but Control Freak stole it. Thanks to the combined work of the Titans, Titans Cast Bot, and Marv Wolfman & George Perez, it was returned to her.
