On the way to the park, Negative Girl fed on all the negative energy generated by commuters stuck in traffic on a bridge and transformed into a giant evil monster. The Chief stated they could get the energy out of her with the power of positivity. Beast Boy thought that meant singing an uplifting song. Chief smacked him and revealed a compartment on the side of the van containing positively charged Power Packs. They zapped her but the packs could not overcome all the stored negative energy. Chief declared they needed extreme positive vibes. He tapped a green button his arm rest. All of the packs ejected lines and plugged into the compartment where the packs were stored. The upbeat 80s song on the radio charged the packs. They were able to fire into Negative Girl's mouth and pull the mass of negative energy out. She returned to normal.
