The Fire Crown is a power enhancing crown formerly worn by King Fire of Tamaran. It was lost in a crumbling city deep under the planet. Blackfire searched for it and with it planned to destroy Tamaran and rule galaxy. Starfire's strength and Starbolts were no match for Blackfire while she donned the crown. Blackfire projected a hand and proceeded to crush Starfire and her team to death. Folding Paper Man bemoaned their lack of a wild card. Starfire reminded Robin he was the wild card and blasted the ceiling. The debris landed on the stone Robin was standing on and launched him into Blackfire's head, knocking the crown off. Blackfire lost her new power and dropped to the floor. The crew tossed Robin up in the air several times in celebration. Starfire used her bare hands to snap the crown in half. Blackfire's reign of terror was over.
