Deadman once acquired crystallized resin of a Lazarus Pit and despite his reluctance, agreed to use its glow to revive the Teen Titans in their pursuit of the First Pot of Chowda in the Boston Catacombs. With each death trap or monster killing them, Deadman revived the Titans. With each use, the Titans returned to life with their minds more and more messed up to the point where they didn't know their names, had shorter attention spans, forgot who Deadman was, no longer knew how to fight or use their powers for combat, and lastly, their brains went to mush.
