The Hero Hotline is a trio of super-powered repair experts. In their commercial, they promise they can fix your problem in a single bound like TV, toasters, garbage disposals, wobbly bookshelves, wobbly beds, wobbly pets, broken blenders, broken water heaters, and broken ice machines. Starfire and Cyborg pretended to be sick from bad oysters to get out of going to the fifth annual Doom Patrol picnic. They discovered their refrigerator's ice machine was broken and couldn't fix it themselves. Marie the Psychic Turtle sensed an appliance-based event and Hero Hotline appeared in Titans Tower before they could finish dialing their phone number. Zeep the Living Sponge found a hot dog jammed into the ice machine. Cyborg admitted he experimented with trying to turn it into a popsicle. Microwavabelle noticed their pizza was cold and warmed it up for them. Marie presented the bill. Cyborg used Robin's credit card and tapped it on Marie's shell.

Starfire and Cyborg thought they were cool and wanted to hang out with them so the latter broke Robin's juicer. Microwavabelle used the leftover pizza, warmed up, to glue the juicer back together then Zeep absorbed the excess cheese and it looked good as new. Starfire and Cyborg began breaking things to get them back like slicing Robin's bed in half, clogging the toilet with Robin's possessions, breaking a toaster, hair dryer, TV, flower pot, and lighting the T-Car on fire. A monster set off a crime alert but Cyborg destroyed the console. Hero Hotline burst through the glass window then Marie fixed it with her telekinesis. Microwavabelle got suspicious about all their calls and they came clean. She told them they could hang out while they fixed the crime alert system. The monster was still rampaging. Since they were trying to get Hero Hotline to hang out with them and they had three members, Starfire and Cyborg thought it was meant to be. However, admitted they never fought crime before and only did appliance repair.

The monster promptly smacked them into the side of a building. They realized they could fix the city instead of fighting the monster. The monster became frustrated with its destruction being near instantly undone. It eventually got tired and Starfire and Cyborg finished it off with a dual punch. It landed just at the beach shoreline. Cyborg told Hero Hotline they made a great team and asked them if they were ready to make the switch to the world saving business. Marie admitted it was fun and all, but their passion would always be appliance repairing. Microwavabelle promised whenever a washing machine made that weird rattling noise, they would be there. Marie promised whenever a stove's pilot light goes, they would be there. Zeep promised whenever a bath tub was draining too slowly and forcing someone to shower while standing in a puddle, they would be there. Marie remembered to give Cyborg the bill for fixing the city. Cyborg charged the $84 million to Robin's credit card. She thanked them for using Hero Hotline and they flew away.
