Berto Jelenic tried to befriend a stray cat named Zoli but it did not stay in his back yard. He tried to win it over with a dish of food but it ran away when it was done eating. Jelenic kept trying. After a year, Zoli was hit by a car and put in a body cast. It couldn't get away and was adopted by Jelenic. While in Aqua Jail, Jelenic told the story to Aqualad and presented Zoli, still in a cast, then dropped it on its head. Aqualad eventually understood he could win Raven's heart with shrimps and prime rib.
