Santa Claus's sled is pulled by his eight reindeer - Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen - every Christmas Eve to deliver presents around the world. Rudolph is the famous red nosed reindeer. There used to be two others, Tyson and Graebel but they were garbage and Santa left them at a dog food factory. In 1953, the Holiday Mob celebrated the New Year in Cuba at the Hotel Kyuba. Santa planned to make a move on Baby New Year, the leader. Turkey and Easter Bunny found a reindeer and beat him up then dragged him to Baby. Bunny pulled the bow on a present it was found with and grenades, dynamite, and a bazooka popped out. They suspected Santa was making a move to take over the mob. He denied it. The bazooka rolled over and showed Santa's name was engraved on it. Baby kissed him and told him he broke his heart. Turkey and Easter Bunny took Santa away and he was removed.
One Christmas, Beast Boy visited Santa's reindeer stables and insulted Rudolph's nose. Comet and Blitzen were amused by Beast Boy's antics. Rudolph was not and drove away in Santa's sleigh. He passed by Starfire and Raven, disguised as elves, near a row of gingerbread houses. The reindeers later pulled Santa's sled as scheduled. On Halloween, Rudolph led Santa's sleigh when he chased after the Titans for the last bag of Halloween candy. He ordered Rudolph to fire. It fired red lasers from his nose and managed to hit the T-Car's rear and a back tire. In a battle against the Creatures of the Night, Rudolph was drained by Dracula while Comet and Blitzen were blasted by Starfire and bashed by Raven. Halloween Spirit turned them into a spider and skeletal reindeer to draw his sleigh.
On Christmas Eve, Santa and Rudolph broke into the Titans Tower so coal could be delivered. Once Santa delivered his fake speech about quitting Christmas, he used his crowbar to make another hole in the glass and jumped out onto Rudolph. That night, they attacked the Titan Sleigh. Rudolph fired laser blasts from his nose and took down engine one. Raven and Starfire managed to detonate Santa's rocket, however, the explosion crippled both and they crashed. One of Santa's reindeer tailed Beast Boy in a car and took photos of him eating junk food before dinner then drove right at him. Beast Boy dodged him and ran down an alley but he was trapped. The reindeer knocked Beast Boy out. He awoke to Santa. Santa revealed he was watching and Beast Boy was very, very naughty, plus he had the evidence. Beast Boy asked what he wanted. Santa revealed he was being investigated by the North Pole Bureau of Internal Affairs for cutting corners with assigning people to the naughty list. He needed proof of naughtiness to keep his operation from being shut down but the Titans' anti-surveillance system was blocking his magic.
Santa wanted Beast Boy to be his spy. Beast Boy refused despite being beaten by the reindeer and being threatened with getting no more presents. He eventually agreed to the deal. Santa asked for some cheese for their "rat." The reindeer slammed it on Beast Boy's face. He asked if it was vegan. Santa warned him not to break his promise or his reindeer would break him. Beast Boy returned to inform Santa about Cyborg sneaking cookies before dinner. He got slapped. Santa wondered if he needed more "persuading." Beast Boy promised to do better. Santa vowed to get his evidence one way or another and wanted to put a wire on Beast Boy. He refused. The reindeer put a bell strap around his knuckles. Beast Boy caved again. One evening, Beast Boy exited from Snacks Yo! with a hot cocoa and Christmas presents for all his friends. To his horror, Santa Claus chased him in a van. Beast Boy ducked into an alley at the last second then walked into a reindeer who punched him out. He was forced to help Santa get back into the Holiday Mob.
It was a ruse for Santa to take over. Santa thanked him and revealed in honor of the special occasion, he had a surprise waiting for him outside. Baby was touched Santa got him a brand new tricycle. He revealed he always wanted one for Christmas. Three reindeer emerged from the back of Santa's van and opened fire. Beast Boy tackled Baby to safety just in time. Beast Boy and the Holiday Mob took cover behind a car. Turkey countered with his cranberry gatling gun. The Easter Bunny fired his bazooka and blew up the van with an egg grenade. The reindeer were arrested by the FBI alongside the mob and Santa. Santa and the reindeers' relationship fell apart. The next Christmas, the Titans wanted to help Santa break out of Jump City Prison in exchange for presents but he felt the plan was impossible with the reindeer. He teared up and admitted he missed them terribly. He did not believe they could escape without them. Robin revealed they anticipated it and set up a visit. They went to the visitor's room where Prancer, Comet, and Vixen were waiting.
Santa told them he thought of them everyday but they did not believe him. Beast Boy turned into a reindeer and reminded them Christmas wasn't the time for fighting but for putting differences aside and focusing on the true mean of Christmas: presents. Santa reminisced about how much fun they had delivering presents. He revealed a chest tattoo depicting them delivering presents on their sleigh. The reindeer were moved. Santa repeated he missed them and apologized. They agreed to help in the break out and also got an early present smuggled in, a Granny Goodness Goodies fruitcake. In reality, it was a tool box filled with tons of instruments. They returned with the sleigh just as they climbed out the D-Block chimney. Santa and one of the reindeer hugged then he betrayed the Titans and dropped them back down to the prison.
