P.P. Goblin is the goblin of pet peeves and wields a staff he can use to bring a victim's pet peeve to life in the form of a little rabid green beast. He, himself, is not excluded from his own power and around 12 of his pet peeves were brought to life but he mastered them at some point. While stealing an ancient casserole dish from the Jump City Museum, P.P. Goblin blasted the Teen Titans. The Pet Peeves of everyone, except Beast Boy, were brought to life as little green beasts. Starfire's chewed on her hair. Robin's jumped up and down on his gut. Cyborg's licked his head repeatedly. Raven's chewed on her cloak and hood. The wild beats were too much of a distraction and P.P. Goblin strode to the exit. He told the Titans so long and hoped they enjoyed their new pets. Robin decided it was best they focus on getting rid of the Pet Peeves first then go after the P.P. Goblin. Back at Titans Tower, they made little progress.

Starfire finally asked why Beast Boy didn't have one. Beast Boy explained he knew how to master his pet peeves and nothing bothered him. Robin tried to ignore them to see if they would go away but his simply peed the carpet then tackled him. Beast Boy warned it was about to get worse. Starfire's possessed Robin and made him work out. Starfire found it annoying. Raven's jumped into Cyborg and made him sing instead of talk. Cyborg's leaped into Starfire and made her bite her finger and toe nails. Robin tried to downplay how annoying the Pet Peeves were. Robin's leaped into Raven and made her drink from a straw for a long time to get every drop of her drink. Robin struggled to stay in control of himself. Eventually, he slapped her drink away with his butt. Beast Boy went to work on training them to master their Pet Peeves. He instructed them to clear their minds and hit the "off-switch." He demonstrated and his eyes turned to static. They tried and the Pet Peeves were ejected from their bodies. Beast Boy then presented a pet clicker and told them they needed to change their behavior like actual pets.

They went to a public park in the city and started the training. Raven taught her Pet Peeve to fetch, Cyborg taught his to roll over, Robin taught his to play dead, and Starfire taught hers to attack on command. Once they were mastered, Robin revealed he also taught his to track down the P.P. Goblin. It picked up a scent and led them to an ominous pit in a forest. They confronted the goblin but he would only say they would know soon enough. He then took out his pet clicker and summoned all his Pet Peeves, about a dozen in number. Raven mused he had some serious issues. P.P. Goblin confirmed she was right but he mastered his Pet Peeves. Robin countered they did as well. The Titans' Pet Peeves quickly overpowered his. One rolled up into a ball but Raven's fetched it and slammed it into a wall. Cyborg's headbutted one, kicked another, and bowled three over. Robin's played dead and even fashioned itself a grave and headstone. One of the goblin's Pet Peeves stopped and solemnly paid its respects. Robin's punched it out. Starfire's attacked P.P. Goblin, clamped on, shook him around, and remained locked onto his butt. P.P. Goblin still refused to surrender and completed his ultimate cheesy hash brown breakfast casserole.
