Ever since childhood, Trigon schemed to trick Raven into executing a complex dance routine for a beauty pageant which was actually a dark ritual intended on summoning a one-eyed monster to Earth so he and Raven could rule the world. She failed to do so and caused a rift between them. Years later, Raven succeeded and the Titans' suspicions were correct it was all to summon a monster. It grabbed them with its tentacles. Robin, still disguised as a child contestant, only shot lollipops from his back pockets at it. The monster paused then smacked him away. Raven convinced Trigon she only wanted to have a father. Trigon realized the error of his ways. Raven put a giant bow on its head and it loved it. Raven and Trigon opened a new portal. Raven formed a fist construct and punched the monster through the portal then closed it.
