Lou is a laughing hyena and Harley Quinn's best friend. After Harley, Poison Ivy and Catwoman recruited Raven and Starfire for their roller derby team, Lou pulled up to the Jump City Rollerway in a convertible. Harley told them Lou was their team manager. He hit a parked car then backed up into a second parked car. They all hopped in and Lou hit the gas pedal, shaped like his paw. Lou parked at the derby by crashing into a dumpster. After their opponents, the Brainy Brawlers, scored 4 points, they took a break. Lou said something but it was all gibberish. Harley realized he was telling them if they wanted to win, they had to pull out the big guns. The others were inspired and gathered themselves. They ended up winning but Harley found a note on their windshield. She learned the Brainy Brawlers kidnapped Lou out of spite for losing to them. Starfire and Raven decided to help rescue him. Harley drove them to the Brawlers' hideout but it was all just an elaborate plan to trick Starfire and Raven into helping them pull off a bank heist and Lou was in the convertible the whole time. Starfire and Raven pursued them and took out Ivy and Catwoman. Raven conjured a giant jar of jam then Starfire heaved it in front of the convertible. Lou drove right into it. Lou and Harley popped out of the pile covered in jam. Lou licked half the jam off Harley's face and laughed.
