In Robin's version of the Teen Titans' origin story, he went to the Demon Dimension third to recruit Raven. Raven was pursued by a trio of talking Demon Dogs and her father Trigon. The dogs demanded that she join them. Raven managed to vanquish them from the dimension with her shadow magic.
