One year, the Teen Titans were so busy they forgot about their annual contractually obligated Halloween Special until a group of trick-or-treaters came to the Titans Tower. The Network sent a Dead Pixel after the Titans to destroy them. A red pixel appeared in the living room. Raven warned it had the power to turn anything into pixels and Teen Titans Go! would be gone forever if it completed its mission. It manifested a mouth and chased after the Titans after Cyborg mistook it for a smudge. They hid behind the couch but it was behind them. They ran for the kitchen by Cyborg barely got through the incredibly long set of security measures in order to activate the emergency door lock. He got hungry from being so terrified and opened the refrigerator only for the Pixel to pop out. It chased them from room to room, turning some doors into pixels. It followed them into the bathroom but they jumped it with the shower curtain. They managed to flush it down the toilet but Raven warned it would keep coming because the power of the Network compels it.
The Titans were soon shunted to the Last Gasp Diner from "The Glob" as the Network started changing their programming. The Pixel began bashing itself against the glass. Raven barricaded it but Beast Boy was stuck among the chairs. After he popped out, the Pixel broke through, turned the barricade into pixels and absorbed them, growing larger. Beast Boy fell victim to the Pixel after it turned into a shape that matched the Glob monster. It grabbed Beast Boy as the Titans dived behind the counter and he was turned into a green pixel. Starfire threw what was on the counter and Robin realized it had the Glob's weakness to cold. They launched cold food at it to freeze it but Starfire snapped and stabbed it with an ice cream cone until Robin told her it was over. Cyborg snapped off a piece and licked it but they found themselves in the creepy cabin in the woods from "Creeper Cabin." Aware of the slasher film trope, Robin ripped the line off to no avail when it started ringing then the Titans tried to destroy the phone when it kept ringing.
Unaware of the danger, Starfire answered the phone and conversed with the caller while Cyborg tracked the source. He discovered the call was coming from inside the phone. The Dead Pixel was inside and it pixelated Starfire. The Titans found themselves in the middle of a corn field from "The Kiddies of the Cobb." The Pixel appeared from the scarecrow and pixelated Cyborg then turned several jack-o-lanterns into fellow Dead Pixels. Raven and Robin attempted to get away in a tractor. They jumped off at the last second and hid in the field. Raven finally convinced Robin to do a Halloween Special to appease the Network. However, Raven fell victim next. Robin finally promised to make a Halloween Special and suddenly awoke in his bed. He thought it was just stress that created the nightmare. He blew off the special and watched Batman '66 on his laptop. The Pixel came out of the laptop, bit him, and he sank into the bed. The Network issued a message that Teen Titans Go! was no more and the Billy & Mandy's Halloween Special was now in progress. Now all pixels, Robin urged the Titans to try one more thing to appease the Network. They formed themselves into a Happy Halloween message but the Pixel chased after them.
