Slade is considered the Teen Titans' greatest villain. He was defeated but eventually returned to settle the score. After three episodes and a TV movie, the Titans believed they vanquished him once and for all as well as resolved a lot of storylines in a perfect balance of drama and action. Robin even got to kiss Starfire finally. The Titans threw themselves a party to celebrate but Cyborg and Beast Boy ended up turning a party clown they hired into a supervillain named Honk. Slade was one of the villains drawn into Control Freak's conflict with the Teen Titans during a staged Island Adventure stunt.
