Pride, Envy, Greed, Hatred, Laziness, Selfishness, and Injustice are evil spirits that represent the seven most deadly human vices. Only someone pure of heart could resist their influence. They were imprisoned in statues and stored on the Rock of Eternity. In the present, Mister Mind came up with a plan to release the Seven Deadly Enemies of Man in his latest bid to take over the world. The Teen Titans went along with Shazam to the Rock to consult with the Wizard. They found the statues cool and imitated them to the Wizard's annoyance. Mind sneaked onboard the magic subway train and sucked the Seven from their statues with a vacuum cleaner. He hopped on a cart and left the Rock then released the Seven back in Jump City. The Titans charged but the Seven fired eye beams at them and they were infected with the human vices. Mind ordered them to destroy the world. They formed a seven pointed star in the sky and formed a giant body with their faces gathered on its chest. It punched buildings and fired its beams.
Billy Batson arrived and changed into Shazam then charged. He was immune to the power of vice since he was pure of heart. Shazam decked the Seven, causing their faces to crack. They roared and threw a punch. Shazam countered with his own punch then flew around their left arm and shattered it then flew through the gut then uppercut them so hard they were launched above the city. Shazam caught them before it landed on the city, creating a huge dust cloud. The Seven were dislodged and fell to the ground, cackled, then vanished.
