For years, Robin trained to improve his sandwich making skills. He traveled across the world and studied under various masters until he perfected the art. However, he wasn't fully satisfied and after three days created the perfect sandwich. All that was left was to crisp it out in a refrigerator. Robin stored both in a highly secure section of the Titans Tower. A password, retinal scan and rhythm code had to be correctly entered to gain access. Robin's older self, going by Nightwing, wanted to eat the perfect sandwich a second time so he used a time machine to go back into the past and steal it before his past self could eat it. Nightwing returned to the future and placed the sandwich in his refrigerator. The sandwich somehow evolved into a supreme intelligence and flew away. It settled on an alien planet and pondered the great questions of the universe. It concluded it was the most supreme lifeform and all others must be destroyed. Luckily, Robin refused to let the theft go unsolved and his investigation led him and the Titans to the planet the sandwich was on. They fought. However, only the mouth of the sandwich's creator could destroy it. After the other Titans admitted Robin was right, he swiftly ate the sandwich and declared it was perfect.
