A monster from space invaded Amityville, Long Island and attacked the DLS Recording Studio. The monster ripped off the roof and started siphoning all of De La Soul's music into its mouth. Pos Plug Won reconfigured his headphones into a bazooka and a mic popped out to David Jude Jolicoeur. David shouted "Yo!" and generated a sonic blast. It hit the monster right in the chin. Maseo threw his albums like throwing stars. Two forty fives embedded into a tentacle then blew up. A 12 inch sliced part of it off but the tentacle quickly regenerated. The Teen Titans emerged from Raven's portal in response to a crime alert set off by the attack and were star struck by De La Soul. Robin and Pos dodged the tentacle strikes as they talked. Raven noticed David. David responded, "In the flesh!" to generate another sonic blast. Cyborg and Beast Boy talked to Maseo. Maseo threw exploding records into the monster's eyes. Undaunted, it keep siphoning the music away.
The Titans introduced themselves and affirmed they came to help save their music. Pos pointed out now would be a good time to start. Before Robin could finish his sentence, the monster preemptively smashed the Titans with a tentacle. It finished stealing all the music and flew off into space. The monster settled on Mars and transmitted the stolen music live from its machine while collecting the sweet music royalties. The super computer at Titans Tower picked up on the monster's biometrics and set off for Mars. De La Cruz inflated their heads to escape from a water trap set by the monster. The monster gloating near a machine playing the stolen music and collecting royalties. De La Soul demanded their music. The monster refused. Pos Plug Won attempted to negotiate and offered to split the royalties with it if their music was returned to them. The monster still refused to comply and smacked them into a wall. David Jolicoeur thought there was no getting through to the monster.
The Titans weren't as resigned to defeat and charged in unison. They dodged the monster's energy blasts and went into the portal Raven opened in front of the monster. Another portal opened above it. Robin leaped off Cyborg's back and heaved his staff into the monster's machine. The stolen music flowed out back into De La Soul. Now clad in matching black suits, they flew towards the monster and decked it with an uppercut construct. They exclaimed "A-O-I!" and their hands combined into a giant energy cannon. The monster regained his composure and descended back at them. De La Soul fired their Bionix Beam and sent the monster drifting into space. The Justice League happened to be passing by Mars in Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet and offered De La Soul membership to which they accepted.
