The Puppet Wizard is a master of the ancient arts and rules over a distant mystical land since time imemorial. He traps unlucky souls in bodies of wooden puppets. The victims must defeat him in combat in his kingdom before sunset to reclaim their souls or do his bidding forever. The Puppet Wizard took advantage of Robin's frustrations with his team and turned the Teen Titans into puppets. They went to his kingdom and battled to reclaim their souls. Starfire delivered the finishing blow with her eye lasers. The Titans were restored to normal.
