While gathering ingredients for Feast Day, Starfire was attacked by an alien plant-like creature. She returned to Earth and didn't treat the sore on her belly. A space parasite developed and began to communicate with Starfire through her brain waves. Robin was believed the sore was a Level 9 Biohazard and she made up the Parry personality to cope with her frustrations concerning Feast Day. Parry then began to speak to Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Raven and they were smitten with her. Robin could find no evidence of Parry could communicate and concluded she was a figment of Starfire's imagination. During Feast Day, Robin tried to reason with everyone and when no one agreed, he implanted parasites on himself. Starfire flew away in tears. While trying to saw Parry off Starfire, Robin met Parry in his mind. She created a cape for Robin's brain and won him over.
Robin apologized for his distrust but Parry suddenly announced she had to leave. Oddly, just as Robin predicted, Parry developed into a giant alien spider and teleported the Teen Titans half way across the galaxy. Some time later, Parry returned to Earth and was part of a huge crime wave in Jump City around the time Robin used the Mysterious Prism to split the Titans up so he could pick the best trait. Parry was among the beasts defeated by Robin's elite team.
