Mister Mind is a deadly villain despite the fact he looks like a harmless worm wearing glasses and a tiny speaker box around his neck. He considers himself the greatest criminal mind in the galaxy and is often in opposition to the superhero Shazam. Mind returned to Earth on a meteor that crashed into a part of Jump City. Shazam opposed Mister Mind and his latest plan, to release the Seven Deadly Enemies of Man. Billy Batson confronted Mind then turned into Shazam. The Teen Titans walked through Raven's portal to the site of a confrontation between Shazam and Mister Mind in a crater. Beast Boy spoke up for everyone and complimented Shazam. Shazam was pleased more heroes arrived and hoped for their help. Raven asked him what his name was again. He replied it was "Billy Batson." Cyborg clarified they meant the other one. Shazam replied "Shazam" and was transformed back into Billy. The Titans were amused. He changed back to Shazam. They wanted him to say it again. He refused and declared he needed all his power to defeat Mind.
The Titans were skeptical Mind posed any threat. Shazam warned them not to underestimate him and insisted he was a deadly adversary. Mind threatened them to leave him alone or they would be destroyed. Raven replied he would be destroying an apple. She teleported one atop him. Mind burrowed to the top of the apple where Starfire placed tiny book in front of him. Beast Boy called him a classic bookworm. The Titans distracted Shazam with questions about his origin story but wanted to focus on stopping Mind but they pointed out he was long gone. Shazam sighed and decided to consult with the Wizard. He allowed the Titans to come along but they didn't take the Wizard or the Seven Deadly Enemies of Man too seriously. Wizard chided them and asked Billy why he brought the Titans. Billy thought they could help find Mister Mind before he could take over the world. Robin wondered where he went. Mind declared his presence but the Titans still didn't take him seriously. Mind got out a vacuum cleaner and sucked out the Seven from their statues.
Mind jumped on a cart and left the Rock. Upon returning to Jump City, he released the Seven and cackled the world would be his soon. The Titans were not match for them. Not pure of heart, they were infected with the vices they embodied. He ordered the Seven to continue with destroying the world. They formed a seven pointed star and created a body for themselves. Shazam was pure of heart and was able to destroy the Seven's form. He grabbed Mind and threw him into space. He couldn't believe he was thwarted again but was creamed by a passing comet.
