Mefo and Fefo are new mascots of Frog Town created to prove the town was the coolest place on Earth rather than Silver Lake. They were based on the Foot Doctor's Hafo Safo sign except instead of being a happy foot and a sad foot, Mefo and Fefo was a mean foot and a fear foot. Once Hafo and Safo arrived in Frog Town with the Teen Titans to rescue the Foot Doctor, the town's Frog King arrived and sent Mefo and Fefo after them. Mefo nimbly punched out Robin and Beast Boy while Fefo scared Starfire, Raven, and Cyborg off their feet. Hafo stated he wasn't into fighting but was cut off and kicked by Fefo while Mefo headbutted Safo. Safo exclaimed for being hit right on the toe. Robin admitted they were no match for Mefo and Fefo but threw a birdarang that freed the Foot Doctor from his bonds. The doctor used his psychokinesis powers to bring the sign down on top of Frog King, Mefo, and Fefo. The sign then exploded.
