The corporate Fat Cats lived in buildings high up in the clouds above Jump City that resembled cat towers. They were able to avoid paying their taxes. To finish fixing the rest of Jump City after Raven created a world without the Internal Revenue Service, the Teen Titans confronted them. Starfire politely addressed them then screamed at them to pay their taxes. One screeched awake. Raven attempted to grab one with a giant hand construct but it evaded her. Cyborg and Beast Boy managed to lift one up but it was too heavy and their arms gave out. One pawed Robin's face repeatedly. Robin admitted the Fat Cats learned to become tax exempt. One swung and punched the Teen Titans off their feet. Robin got an idea to use the one thing the Cats couldn't resist, a loophole. He produced a ball of yarn, made a lasso, and threw it out. The Fat Cats couldn't resist and jumped towards it. They were snagged. The Titans quickly pulled to tighten the loophole then laid them up like a pinata and bashed money out of them with sticks. They were able to restore Jump City to its former publicly-funded glory.
