Birdarang and Batarang dared Captain Boomerang into carjacking Commissioner Gordon. He did but crashed and was arrested then sent to Jump City Prison. In exchange for information on the whereabouts of the missing Batmobile, Birdarang and Batarang aided Captain Boomerang, Brother Blood, Cinderblock, Catwoman and Bane in a prison break. Boomerang told them he heard from Joker that Daffy Duck was driving around in the Batmobile. Birdarang's loud alert tipped off the guards and they were recaptured.
