The Channel Tunnel, or Chunnel, is an undersea rail tunnel linking the United Kingdom to France by the English Channel. Angered by England's support of Bialya, Pokolistan sent terrorist agents to attack the Channel Tunnel. It was sealed off at both ends and flooded. Superman and the Elite, through non-destructive means, extracted part of the tunnel and lifted it to the surface in order to save the trapped rail passengers.
