Among the national community, Pokolistan was rumored to be engaged in a top secret bio-weapons program. The rumors were true and the program yielded gigantic insects with laser cannons grafted onto their backs. During heightened tensions between Pokolistan and Bialya, the bioweapon was unleashed. Superman and the Elite engaged the creature but after Menagerie sliced it in half, the bioweapon reformed into two entities. The Hat destroyed one with a dragon construct while Superman froze and shattered the other.
