Created by Superman with the guidance of Kryptonian archives, the Robot fulfills the daily operations of Superman's Fortress of Solitude. It initally detected a faint pulse that matched Superman's bio-rhythms 17 days after his funeral. The Robot located Superman's body in LexCorp and broadcast an electromagnetic pulse to knock out computer systems and retrieve Superman without incident.
It placed Superman in a solar booster unit in an attempt to boost his absorption rate. With his clone rampaging, Superman decided to end his recovery and face it. The Robot didn't approve but gave Superman an archived Kryptonite cannon as insurance.
