Lois Lane is the star reporter of Metropolis' Daily Planet newspaper and was a tabloid headline of her own, lover of Superman. After they began to secretly date, Lane figured out Superman was none other than Clark Kent.
Following Superman's death, she sought out the comfort of Martha Kent and was at first, glad to see Superman alive again. After he began killing, Lane investigated his return which led to Lex Luthor. With Jimmy Olsen, they discovered Luthor's cloning lab. After the debacle was cleared up, Superman opened up to Lane and revealed his secret identity.
